Ingrid Brown was named the 2026 Driver of the Year by the Women In Trucking Association. This award is an annual honor to the females of the trucking industry who prove their professionalism, leadership, and commitment on the road. Here is what another woman in trucking, Lisa Steed, has to say about the incredible award.
Lisa Steed, Transportation Entrepreneur and Logistics Leader, believes that stories like Ingrid Brown’s are important.
Why?
Because they highlight an important aspect of the trucking industry that is sometimes overlooked: the females who are a formidable force in this male-dominanted field!
Why Ingrid Brown Was Named 2026 Driver of the Year
Ingrid Brown has been recognized as Driver of the Year, as she is an admirable representative of the trucking industry in her own unique way. Since its inception in 2007, Brown has achieved a professional reputation among her peers, and remains a Charter Member of the Women In Trucking Association. While her devotion to the trucking industry is well established, she remains more than simply an owner-operator (which she is – Brown is the owner of Rollin’ B LLC and manages & drives for Blackjack Express LLC). Brown is a front-runner at the forefront of the trucking industry. As Lisa Steed stated, there is no one more exemplary of what it means to represent the women within this industry.
